    COVID-19: SLO County reports 31 new cases, no deaths reported so far in April

    –San Luis Obispo County reported 31 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend; 9 on Monday, 12 on Sunday, and 10 on Saturday. Since the beginning of April, San Luis Obispo County has seen no deaths attributed to the virus.

    Active cases as of Monday afternoon were at 175, down considerably since January when active cases peaked at over 3,000.

    The total number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 since March is now 20,754 in SLO County. The county reports 20,319 people have recovered from the virus.

    The health department attributes a total of 256 deaths to COVID-19 since the pandemic was declared in March of 2020.
