Bearcats sports update: Soccer, golf, diving
Girls varsity soccer
Tuesday in Bearcat soccer the Bearcats were defeated by the San Luis Obispo Tigers 2-4. Ravin Wulfing scored the first goal for the Bearcats and Freshman Audree Lerma scored the second. The Bearcats are currently 1-2 in league.
Golf
The Paso Robles High School Boys’ Golf Team hosted Righetti High School Tuesday afternoon at The Paso Robles Golf Club. The Bearcats earned their first victory of the season 242-251. Kobe Miller led the Bearcats with a 41 followed by Mark Boatman with a 44.
Diving
On Monday, the Bearcat diving team traveled to Santa Ynez high school to compete in the first diving competition of the 2021 spring season. Freshman Bennett Reed, competing in his first meet, placed 4th for the Bearcats. Returning divers, sophomore Ashleynn Bean, and senior Sage Adams, both gave strong performances in their first meet back from last seasons’ cancellation. Bean placed second with a personal best score of 140.75. Adams’ strong performance earned her 1st place in the meet. Adams’ score of 224.25 proved to be her personal best for a 6 dive event.
