–Special from Soaring Eagle Press–
From Amy Smart, Conservation Technician at US-LTRCD

Cleaning of vegetation will involve removal of blackberries, vinca, and other non-native riparian specie clogging up the channel. Additionally, dead limbs and other large wood material will be removed. All work will be done by hand crews using hand tools and chainsaws.
The US-LTRCD has funds and will obtain all the necessary permits to conduct the work this year.
