Pioneer Day Old Timer’s Barbecue returns to San Miguel Aug. 25 

Guests aged 80 years and above eat free

– The San Miguel Lions Club will host a Pioneer Day Old Timer’s Barbecue fundraiser on Sunday, Aug. 25, from noon to 2 p.m., or until the food runs out, at the San Miguel Community Park, 1325 K St., San Miguel.

Tickets for the event are $15 each and include a half chicken, beans, salad, French bread, dessert, and soda. Individuals aged 80 years and older will eat for free. Tickets can be purchased on-site on the day of the event.
