Paso Robles Police investigate shooting, detain three
– The Paso Robles Police Department responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon on May 26. A male sought medical treatment for a gunshot wound at a local hospital, though he was reluctant to provide a statement, according to police. However, information obtained from family members indicated his presence near 34th St. and Spring St.
Following this lead, officers conducted an investigation that pointed to the likely occurrence of the shooting at an apartment situated in the 3500 block of Spring St. Subsequently, a search warrant was executed at the residence, revealing further evidence, including a loaded firearm.
Authorities took a female and two males into custody in connection with the incident. The case remains under active investigation, and the police department encourages anyone with information to come forward and contact them.
