New wine released by Pelletiere Estate Winery
– Pelletiere Estate Winery has announced the release of their 2021 Aglianico, now available for tasting at their Paso Robles tasting room. This is the first time the winery is offering this Italian varietal, cultivated from vines planted in 2016, to a wider audience beyond their wine club members.
The 2021 Aglianico features a deep hue and an expressive nose of blackberry, spiced plum, boysenberry, and a hint of nutmeg, according to the winery. On the palate, it presents flavors of blackberry, anise, and cocoa, with silky tannins and balanced acidity.
Aglianico is known for its bold flavors and robust structure. It is often referred to as the “Barolo of the South” for its aging potential and depth of character. The estate-grown Aglianico at Pelletiere Estate Winery aims to reflect these qualities.
The Pelletiere Estate Winery tasting room is open by appointment from Thursday through Sunday at their Willow Creek District location. Appointments can be scheduled at Pelletiere.com. For more information, contact Pelletiere Estate Winery at (805) 239-9432.
