– Almond Acres Charter Academy proudly celebrates its eighth-grade students’ promotion at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5. The festivity will take place in their gym on campus, and anybody is happily invited to observe: after all, some of these eighth graders have been attending Almond Acres since kindergarten, and what better way is there to commemorate their hard work than being there to support them as they move on to high school?
While these eighth graders have been looking forward to summer (as everyone does) they do appreciate and enjoy the memories that have been made in these past years. From playing sports like basketball, flag football, and volleyball to performing in their 2024 drama production of Treasure Island, they have forged such a strong bond with their school and each other that can’t be replaced. These young kites will fly off to all sorts of new places and schools – Paso Robles, Atascadero, Templeton, and beyond – but the life they lived at Almond Acres has made such an impact that it will be impossible to forget.
“Congratulations to the Almond Acres Charter Academy class of 2024,” said Mr. Cadwallader, Principal and Algebra 1 teacher at AACA, “This is the largest 8th-grade class in the history of AACA. The class of 2024 consists of diverse personalities that came together to create a cohesive community. I wish them all the best of luck in all their future endeavors.”
“I am so proud of the Almond Acres Charter Academy class of 2024,” said Mrs. Cronauer, English Language Arts teacher at AACA, “I’ve only had the pleasure of knowing them this school year, but in that time, I have seen them mature into incredible young adults with diverse interests, talents, and positive qualities. I firmly believe they will accomplish great things as they move through high school and beyond, and I hope they keep in touch to share their achievements. I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of their educational journey. Congratulations 8th graders!”
Note: the mascot for Almond Acres Charter Academy in Paso Robles is a kite. The kite symbolizes the school’s mission to help students soar academically, socially, and emotionally.
