– Country star Walker Hayes will perform at Vina Robles Amphitheatre on Oct. 3. Local country duo Joe & Martina will open for Hayes. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
Walker Hayes, a Monument Records recording artist from Mobile, Alabama, gained fame in 2021 with his hit “Fancy Like.” The song topped every country music sales and streaming chart, spent more than six months at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, reached the top 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Songs, hit No. 1 at country radio, and earned Hayes his first GRAMMY Award nomination for Best Country Song. “Fancy Like” was also featured in a nationwide Applebee’s commercial. His follow-up singles “AA,” “Y’all Life,” and “Good With Me” solidified his place as one of the top-selling and streamed artists in country music. Hayes’ current project, Sober Thoughts, includes the single “Same Drunk” and features a partnership with Athletic Brewing on a custom non-alcoholic beer.
Hayes has performed on national shows such as Good Morning America, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and TODAY. He was also profiled on CBS Sunday Morning.
Hayes recently announced his next headlining tour, The Same Drunk Tour, following his previous arena tours, The Duck Buck Tour and the Glad You’re Here Tour. The Glad You’re Here Tour shares its name with the book Hayes co-authored with his best friend, Craig Allen Cooper, detailing his journey to finding Christ.
Beyond his musical career, Hayes will executive produce a scripted drama based on his life with Untitled Entertainment. Additionally, he has been tapped by JCPenney for a limited-edition menswear collection.
