Retired Teachers Association awards scholarships to local high school seniors
Scholarships totaled $18,900 and ranged in value from $700 to $2,500
– The scholarship committee and members of Division 86 of the California Retired Teachers Association hosted the 2024 Scholarship Tea on May 22 at the Paso Robles Culinary Arts Academy. Eighteen seniors from the five public high school districts in North San Luis Obispo County were honored with scholarships funded by members and valued sponsors of the scholarship program.
The scholarships totaled $18,900 and ranged in value from $700 to $2,500, with three being multi-year awards. The California Retired Teachers Association expressed deep gratitude to the donors who contributed to the success of this year’s program, supporting public high school graduates in pursuing their career dreams.
