– The International CAB Symposium has announced its inaugural event will debut in May in Paso Robles. The five-day event will bring together some of the world’s leading winemakers to celebrate and explore Cabernet and Bordeaux varietal wines.
The symposium will provide a platform for producers, industry professionals, media, and wine enthusiasts to examine the nuances of terroir, clonal selections, and stylistic choices of these renowned varietals. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in masterclasses, tastings, galas, and meals designed to deepen their understanding of Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux reds.
“We are thrilled to host the first International CAB Symposium in Paso Robles,” said Linda Sanpei, founder of ICS. “Our goal is to create a dynamic and engaging forum where wine experts and enthusiasts can connect, share knowledge, and experience the best of Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux wines from across the globe.”
The symposium will feature masterclasses and seminars led by winemakers from notable wineries, including Andrew Will Winery (Vashon, WA), Austin Hope Winery (Paso Robles, CA), Black Stallion Estate Winery (Napa, CA), Catena Zapata (Mendoza, Argentina), Château-Figeac (Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, France), Château Montrose (Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, France), Chateau Ste. Michelle (Washington), DAOU Vineyards (Paso Robles, CA), Don Melchor (Chile), JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery (Paso Robles, CA), and many others.
