Free disaster preparedness class in Spanish offered online in September
– The Listos Program will offer a free, online disaster preparedness and emergency class in Spanish for Paso Robles residents. The class will be held on Sept. 10 and Sept. 17 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The course is designed to help Spanish-speaking community members prepare for emergencies. It will cover various topics, including identifying dangers and risks, creating a communication plan, developing a family reunification plan, responding to service disruptions, using fire extinguishers, handling emergency equipment, providing first aid for injuries, offering emotional support, and organizing homes for emergencies.
Families are encouraged to attend the class together. Participants must complete the entire course to receive the full benefits.
