Volunteers needed for Templeton, Paso Robles dual cleanup day event
Event aims to remove trash from the Salinas River and prevent it from flowing into the ocean
– Templeton and Paso Robles residents are invited to participate in the Creeks to Coast Clean-Up Day on Saturday, Sept. 21. The event aims to remove trash from the Salinas River and prevent it from flowing into the ocean.
Volunteers will gather at two locations: the Templeton Community Services District Board Room, located at 206 5th Street, and Larry Moore Park on Riverbank Lane in Paso Robles. Participants should arrive between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to receive trash bags and pickers before heading out to their assigned areas by 9 a.m.
The cleanup will conclude at noon, at which point volunteers are encouraged to return to the starting location, fill out a brief survey about what they found, and enjoy a provided lunch.
