Atascadero’s summer concert series closes with JD Project
– The City of Atascadero will continue its 2024 “Saturdays in the Park” Summer Concert Series with its final performance featuring The JD Project on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 6:30 p.m. The concert will take place at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand.
The JD Project, a group of musicians with experience from various California touring acts, including the nationally touring act Itchy McGuirk, will perform. The band, which has played at venues such as the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles and the Morro Bay Harbor Festival, consists of members who call San Luis Obispo County their home. The group is known for its blend of original and cover songs, strong musicianship, and engaging stage presence.
The concert is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a low-back chair. Food vendors Zen Dog and Paradise Shaved Ice will be on-site selling concert treats.
