Portion of Chimney Rock Road to close Wednesday for culvert, embankment repair 

– The San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department will implement temporary traffic control and a detour for a one-day road closure on Chimney Rock Road to repair a damaged culvert and embankment on Wednesday.

The closure will occur roughly ½ mile west of the Chimney Rock Road and Adelaida Road intersection, and 2¼ miles east of the Chimney Rock Road and Cypress Mountain Drive intersection. Detour routes will include Cypress Mountain Drive and Klau Mine Road. The road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Chimney Rock Road will be closed between Adelaida Road and Cypress Mountain Drive during these hours.
