Pasolivo named most awarded U.S. producer at international competition
– Pasolivo Olive Oil, based in Paso Robles, announced its recognition as the most awarded US producer in the 12-year history of the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC).

The NYIOOC is one of the largest olive oil competitions worldwide, with hundreds of producers participating. Although the competition only accepts extra virgin olive oils (EVOO), Pasolivo’s portfolio also includes flavored olive oils. Pasolivo blends traditional and modern techniques to maintain the quality and flavor of its oils.
“Our olive oils are a true reflection of the terroir of Paso Robles,” said Marisa Bloch Gaytan, a level II olive oil sommelier and Pasolivo’s general manager. “We take pride in every step of the process, from carefully nurturing our olive groves to hand-harvesting and pressing the olives.
