Master food preservers teach kimchi making at the library

Class will be held Saturday, Oct. 19 at the library

– Members of the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Food Preservers of SLO and Santa Barbara Counties will instruct attendees on making spicy kimchi in an in-person class at the Paso Robles City Library on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Kimchi, made from fermented cabbage and other vegetables, is a staple of the Korean diet, known for its spicy, salty, and sour flavors. Participants will create their own version of the dish to enjoy at home, with recipes provided during the class.

Class size is limited for this special event, and attendees must register each family member individually. The class is open to participants aged 16 and older. To register, click here.
