Human Bean locations to donate proceeds for breast cancer support

– The Human Bean Central California announced its annual Coffee for a Cure event, set for Oct. 18, at all participating locations, including three in San Luis Obispo County. The event, held in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, aims to raise funds for breast cancer patients and research. This year marks the 19th anniversary of the drive-thru coffee company’s nationwide fundraiser.
On Oct. 18, 100% of proceeds from sales at The Human Bean locations in Morro Bay, Atascadero, and Templeton will be donated to Dignity Health’s Hearst Cancer Resource Center at French Hospital Medical Center. The donation will support local cancer patients and their families.
“We are incredibly proud to take part in this unique event as everyone knows someone touched by breast cancer,” said Vikki Mitchell, owner of The Human Bean Central California. “This event is an important way we can show our commitment to giving back to the Central Coast communities we serve. Pat and I encourage everyone to join us on October 18th and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or one of our specialty beverages while making a difference in the fight against breast cancer.”
The Human Bean will also feature three special pink “secret menu” drinks during the event: the Raspberry Breve, Cherry Blossom Latte, and Coral Reef Energy Drink.
