Letter: Community advocate supports candidate’s bid for city council
To the editor,
– I have had the privilege of knowing Steve Gregory for over forty years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work alongside him in numerous capacities, particularly in support of many of our local non-profits. Steve has consistently demonstrated his deep care for our children, our families, seniors and our entire community.
Steve Gregory’s dedication to the well-being of Paso Robles is evident in everything he does. He truly understands the needs of our city, and his focus on keeping our community safe is one of the many reasons why he has earned my full support. As a financially conservative and accountable leader, Steve has always prioritized responsible governance and fiscal discipline, qualities that are critical for the future of our city.
His five years of experience on the planning commission and his current role as mayor pro-tem showcase his commitment to Paso Robles. Steve is the kind of leader who produces results — his attitude is always to “get-er done!” Whether it’s volunteering for numerous local organizations, supporting the work of the El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO), or addressing community safety, Steve is making a difference in our city.
Steve has consistently reached out to constituents to discuss our community’s goals and concerns. He is accessible, approachable, and always willing to listen to the voices of the people he serves. Additionally, Steve has gone into the community and assisted several individuals who needed help with projects, dinner deliveries, or whatever situation they needed he has offered a hand to help.
I wholeheartedly support Steve Gregory’s reelection to the Paso Robles City Council, and I encourage you to do the same. With his proven track record of leadership, dedication, and financial accountability, I am confident that Steve will continue to make Paso Robles a better, safer, and more prosperous place for all of us.
Sincerely,
Diane Ward
