– San Luis Obispo County firefighters are responding to a trench rescue near the 2500 block of Lazy Hill Road in San Miguel, according to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department. An urban search and rescue team is on the way to assist, according to a social media post on X.
A trench rescue is an emergency response operation to save individuals trapped in a trench or excavation site.
Authorities have not yet released additional information about the incident or the condition of the person involved. Updates will be added if more information becomes available.
