Renowned for its flagship Mountain Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and collection of Willow Creek District Reserve wines, Opolo was founded in 1999 by friends Rick Quinn and David Nichols. Today the winery offers one of the Paso Robles region’s most dynamic visitor experiences, including delicious food pairings and the fine brandies, whiskeys, and spirits from its affiliated Willow Creek Distillery.
Calling All Locals: Complimentary Tastings
Through the end of November, Opolo is offering complimentary “Classic Flight” tastings for locals only on Tuesdays through Thursdays. It’s the perfect way to put some extra cheer into your weekdays this fall.
This offer is valid for any guest who provides an ID showing local Central Coast residency—just mention the offer to your host. Also, for out-of-town guests, the regular tasting fee can be waived with a two-bottle purchase.

The Perfect Fall Tour
Meanwhile, the new Estate Tour was launched this summer to rave reviews, and it pairs perfectly with the mild weather and beautiful vineyard colors of autumn.
During this exclusive private tour, you will taste wines as you journey through the vineyard; learn about Opolo’s history, winemaking, and sustainable farming practices; and indulge in a secluded sit-down tasting featuring some of the rarest Opolo Reserve selections. Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the coastal mountains and learn about what makes the Willow Creek District one of the world’s most highly regarded wine-growing areas.
