Women in aviation to lead Warbirds Museum dinner presentation

– The Estrella Warbirds Museum will host its monthly dinner event on Nov. 6, featuring members of the Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots as guest speakers. The Ninety-Nines, founded in 1929 by 99 women pilots, is dedicated to advancing aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support while honoring the contributions of women in flight.
During the event, members of the San Luis Obispo County Chapter of the Ninety-Nines will discuss the organization’s history, mission, and community initiatives. The group will also highlight its work supporting future pilots through scholarships and mentorship programs.
The dinner will be catered, and reservations are required by 6 p.m. on the Monday before the event to provide advance notice for the caterer. Dinner costs $25 per person, and reservations can be made online at ewarbirds.org/museum/reservations.shtml or by calling (805) 296-1935. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a no-host bar, and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
