Math expert Larry Martinek leads free workshop for parents

    – Larry Martinek, the creator of the Mathnasium Method, will lead the first in a series of workshops on Nov. 10 for parents, guardians, and anyone interested in supporting children’s math education.

Martinek, a veteran math educator with over 50 years of experience in public and private instruction, will share methods he has developed through his work with Mathnasium, a global network of math learning centers. The workshop aims to equip parents and guardians with tools to help children pursue math education, regardless of their own comfort level with math.

The event is free, and no registration is required. It will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Mathnasium of Atascadero, located at 7041 El Camino Real in the Vons Shopping Center.
