Classes will continue throughout November and December
– Studios on the Park will offer a series of hand-stitching classes led by Blue Arrow Handmade, beginning with an “Embroidery Exploration – Slow Stitch” class on Nov. 17 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Taught by Rebecca Prange, the class costs $45 and includes all materials.
The “Slow Stitch” series is designed for participants to unwind through deliberate, hand-sewing techniques. In the Nov. 17 class, students will learn various embroidery stitches beyond the basic running stitch, using wool felt to create corner-style bookmarks as practice samplers.
All necessary materials, including floss, floss bobbins, needles, and wool felt, are included in the class fee, with additional supplies available for purchase. Tools such as thread snips, marking tools, and an iron will be available for use in class.
Classes will continue throughout November and December, with sewing machine-based classes planned for January.
