National Honor Society opens chapter at Paso Robles High School

Chapter offers students in grades 10 through 12 a chance to join a national network of high-achieving peers

    – Paso Robles High School has established a National Honor Society chapter, becoming one of the few schools on California’s Central Coast to offer this program. The National Honor Society (NHS) recognizes high-achieving students who demonstrate scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

The creation of the chapter reflects the school’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, leadership, and community engagement among students. Members will have the opportunity to enhance their academic and service records while participating in initiatives that support both the school and the local community.

The chapter offers students in grades 10 through 12 a chance to join a national network of high-achieving peers, with membership criteria based on meeting academic and ethical standards. Eligible students who meet these requirements will be invited to apply for membership each year.

An informational meeting for interested students and parents is scheduled for Nov. 20 during tutorial in Ms. Ramirez’s room, 1010, according to the school. The meeting will cover the chapter’s goals, membership criteria, and the benefits of membership.
