61-year-old man transported to Sierra Vista Hospital
– A Paso Robles man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Creston Road on Wednesday, according to a press release from the California Highway Patrol Templeton office.
Danny W. Mathews, 61, was driving a 2008 Toyota Highlander southbound on Creston Road near Creston Ridge Lane at approximately 4:15 p.m. when the incident occurred.
According to the CHP, Mathews made an unsafe turn to the right while approaching a left curve, causing him to leave the roadway. His vehicle struck a fence, then a utility pole, before hitting a tree where it came to rest.
