Atascadero Community Band hosting free holiday concert this December
Event is free to attend although contributions benefit Applause Children’s Theater
– The Atascadero Community Band will hold its annual Holiday Harmony concert on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 2:30 p.m. at the Pavilion on the Lake, located at 9315 Pismo Ave. in Atascadero. The event is free and open to the public.
The program will feature holiday-themed music, including selections from A Charlie Brown Christmas, themes from The Nutcracker Suite, Ding Dong Merrily on High, and Good Swing Wenceslas. Fans of The Polar Express can look forward to renditions of Hot Chocolate and Rockin’ on Top of the World. Attendees will also be invited to participate in a traditional audience singalong.
Refreshments and parking will be provided free of charge, though donations will be accepted. All contributions will benefit Applause Children’s Theater, a nonprofit organization that offers children opportunities to perform on stage.
The Atascadero Community Band, a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status, aims to bring music to the community while supporting local causes.
