Chef Jorge Magdonal has over 25 years of experience working in kitchens and says he is delighted to now have his own restaurant
Sabor & Sazón welcomes guests for holiday feast
– Sabor & Sazón, a downtown Paso Robles restaurant, will remain open on Thanksgiving Day, serving a prix fixe traditional turkey dinner from 1 to 7 p.m.
Chef Jorge Magdonal, who owns the restaurant, said he decided to share his cooking talents with the community this year. “Not everyone enjoys cooking as much as I do,” Magdonal said.
The Thanksgiving meal will feature three courses, including a house salad, turkey with traditional sides, and pumpkin pie. The cost is $60 per person. A children’s meal, priced at $20, will offer chicken strips with fries or potatoes. The restaurant’s regular menu will not be available during the holiday hours.

Chef Jorge enjoys spending time with family and often takes a break to share a meal with his extended family working at the restaurant.
Guests will also have the option to purchase wine, cocktails, or mocktails from the bar staff.
Belyn Magdonal, the restaurant’s general manager and Jorge’s daughter, said the holiday holds special meaning for their family. “This is our first holiday season that the restaurant has been open, and we want to celebrate it with our customers,” she said. “My dad has always made special dinners memorable with our family, and we want to extend that joy and share the day with others in our community.”
Reservations are recommended, but walk-in guests will be accommodated as space allows.
Sabor & Sazón is located at 841 13th St., Paso Robles. For more information or to make a reservation, call (805) 221-5048 or visit saborsazon.com.
