Wildflower triathlon returns to Lake San Antonio in May
Event is open to athletes of all experience levels
– The Wildflower Triathlon, known as the “Woodstock of Triathlons,” will return to Lake San Antonio from May 2–4, 2025. Since its founding in 1983, the event has attracted athletes from around the globe, drawing thousands of participants and spectators to celebrate endurance sports and the scenic beauty of Central California.
The 2025 triathlon will feature its hallmark challenging courses, a vibrant festival atmosphere, and a focus on environmental sustainability. Athletes will have the opportunity to compete in the Long Course, Olympic, Sprint, and Gravel Sprint events. Additional options include a 20K Trail Run, 5K and 10K Fun Runs, and an Open Water Swim.

Event highlights
The Wildflower Triathlon weekend will feature a variety of activities, including:
Festival and entertainment: Music, food trucks, family activities, professional seminars, live entertainment, pre-race swim clinics, and more will be offered in a four-day Endurance Festival from Thursday through Sunday.
Camping options: Accommodations range from general camping to options like gear rentals, RV delivery, and luxury bell tents equipped with queen beds. Nearby vacation rentals are also available.
Community and family events: Yoga and fitness classes, a children’s race, and a three-day endurance expo will provide opportunities for all attendees to engage in the Wildflower spirit.
The event is open to athletes of all experience levels, from elite competitors to beginners. Registration for races, camping, and festival passes is now available. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.
