    Final election results released for Paso Robles 

    Kris Beal announces run for Paso Robles City Council District 1

    For District 1’s partial term, Kris Beal won with 1,223 votes.

    Final results certified Tuesday

    – San Luis Obispo County released final election results Tuesday for the November 5 general election, certifying winners in several Paso Robles city and school board races.

    For Paso Robles City Council District 1’s partial term, Kris Beal won with 1,223 votes (43.82%), defeating Sharon Roden who received 1,097 votes (39.30%), and Linda C. George with 471 votes (16.88%).

    In District 3, Steve Gregory secured victory with 1,502 votes (43.49%), followed by Michael Rivera with 1,228 votes (35.55%) and Jeff Carr with 724 votes (20.96%).

    Fred L. Strong ran unopposed in District 4, receiving 2,078 votes (100%).

    In the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District races, four trustee areas saw competitive contests:

    In Trustee Area 3, Nathan Williams won with 1,633 votes (63.07%) over Hunter M. Breese, who received 956 votes (36.93%).

    Laurene D. McCoy secured Trustee Area 5 with 1,820 votes (54.92%) against Tim Gearhart’s 1,494 votes (45.08%).

    For Trustee Area 6, Leo Castillo won with 1,171 votes (52.70%) over Adelita Hiteshew’s 1,051 votes (47.30%).

    In Trustee Area 7, Kenney Enney won with 2,020 votes (60.21%) against Tracy Dauterman, who received 1,335 votes (39.79%).

    The city’s Measure I-24, a proposed transactions and use tax, passed with 7,502 votes (54.42%) in favor and 6,283 votes (45.58%) against.

    The results were certified on Dec. 3.
