    Christmas light parade awards and top honors announced

    Parade’s highest honor went to the Sleigh Bells Ranch Float by Coast Pipe

    – The Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association hosted its 63rd annual Christmas Light Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7, dazzling spectators with an array of creative floats, marching bands, and festive entries. This year’s event brought holiday cheer to thousands along the parade route as participants showcased their artistic and seasonal spirit.

    Top honors

    The Sweepstakes Award, the parade’s highest honor, went to the Sleigh Bells Ranch Float by Coast Pipe.

    Other top awards included:

    • Judges’ Award: Glenn Speck Elementary School (#33)
    • Special Award: Zoo To You (#52)
    • Santa’s Award: Winifred Pifer Elementary School (#59)
    • Business/commercial: North County Septic Service (#36)
    • Bands: Paso Robles High School Marching Band took first place, with Flamson & Lewis Middle School Band placing second.
    • Color guard: Civil Air Patrol Bob Beever’s Cadet Squadron 103
