Firefighters respond to report of smoke coming from Paso Robles apartment 

Smoke traced to heater issue

– Firefighters with Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services responded to reports of smoke in an apartment at 420 12th St., Suite 5, early Thursday morning.

Initially, responders were investigating the origin of smoke in what was believed to be an unoccupied apartment unit. However, it was later determined that the apartment was occupied.

The source of the smoke was identified as a heater with a door placed against it.

Fire crews cleared the scene at 12:55 a.m., and no injuries or significant damage were reported.
