– The Paso Robles City Library is featuring artist Edward Hudson as its highlighted artist for the month of December.
Hudson has been painting for 42 years and is largely self-taught. While pursuing degrees in graphic arts and photography in college, he also studied fine arts under the guidance of notable instructors and mentors.
Hudson’s work predominantly focuses on figures, depicting humans in scenes and situations that aim to capture a specific moment or experience in time.
“Art is the freedom of feeling, emotion, and inspiration which we all, as humans, require, whether creating or appreciating it, in order to be complete,” Hudson said.
The library regularly highlights local artists, providing a platform to showcase their work to the community. Hudson’s work will be on display through the end of the month.
