    Starlink mission to launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base today

    Liftoff is planned for 5:48 p.m.

    – Vandenberg Guardians and Airmen are set to support the launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 Starlink mission from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base on Saturday, Dec. 28. Liftoff is planned for 5:48 p.m. Pacific Time.

    After stage separation, the rocket’s first stage is expected to land on the droneship “Of Course I Still Love You,” stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

    Launch schedules are subject to change due to mission requirements.

    A live webcast of the launch will begin approximately five minutes before liftoff. The broadcast will be available on SpaceX’s social media account on X and on the X TV app.

    The mission is being conducted in partnership with the United States Space Force and Space Systems Command.
