Paso Robles rainfall total reaches 2.70 inches, clear skies forecasted this week
Foggy conditions prompt safety warnings from California highway patrol
– Paso Robles recorded .01 inches of rain on Dec. 27 and an additional .05 inches on the morning of Dec. 30, bringing the season’s total rainfall to 2.70 inches.
Measurements are taken daily at 7 a.m. at the Paso Robles Water Yard, reflecting precipitation from the past 24 hours.

Clear skies and mild temperatures are expected in the Paso Robles area for the rest of the week, according to recent weather reports. On Monday, the high is forecasted to reach 62 degrees, with a low of 34 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Sunny conditions are expected on Tuesday, with daytime highs of 59 degrees and nighttime lows of 31 degrees.
Partly cloudy skies will return on New Year’s Day with a high of 62 degrees and a low of 37 degrees. Thursday, Jan. 2, will bring mostly sunny weather, with temperatures reaching 66 degrees during the day and dropping to 38 degrees overnight.
Friday and Saturday are both predicted to be partly cloudy, with daytime highs of 66 and 62 degrees, respectively, and overnight lows of 40 degrees on Friday and 36 degrees on Saturday.
No further rainfall is expected throughout the week.
In addition to the weather forecast, fog continues to impact roadways across San Luis Obispo County, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officials are urging drivers to exercise caution in these conditions.
Motorists are advised to reduce their speed to match visibility and road conditions and to activate headlights to improve visibility and alert other drivers.
“Do your part to stay safe on the road, and we will continue to do our part to remind those who forget safe driving practices,” the highway patrol stated in a recent post.
