Bands sought for Atascadero’s Saturday in the Park concerts
Applications due by Jan. 31
– The City of Atascadero’s Community Services Department is now accepting band applications for the 2025 “Saturday in the Park” Summer Concert Series. The annual event, now in its 22nd year, will feature seven concerts at the Atascadero Lake Bandstand from June 28 through Aug. 30.
Concert dates include June 28, July 5, 12, 26, and Aug. 2, 9, and 30. Performances will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and are free to the public, drawing an average of 500 attendees per concert.
Each selected band will receive a $500 stipend and support from an audio technician provided by the city. The concert series will be promoted through radio, digital advertising, social media, city websites, and printed materials.
Bands interested in participating can apply online at https://www.visitatascadero.com/events. Applications are due by Friday, Jan. 31, at 5 p.m. Late submissions will not be accepted.
