Annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration returns Jan. 20
Event will feature performances, contests, and keynote speakers
– The City of Paso Robles will host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration on Monday, Jan. 20, continuing a tradition that began in 1990. The event honors the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and features performances, contests, and keynote speakers.
The celebration begins with a community walk at noon, starting at Robbins Field. The march will be canceled in the event of heavy rain. The event program will follow from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Downtown City Park gazebo. Admission is free.
The 2025 event is presented in collaboration with the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District and the City of Paso Robles. The celebration will feature local music, acting and dance groups, student performances, essay and art contests, and a keynote address.
