Affectionate, energetic pup seeks new home
– The Adoptable Pet of the Week this week is Lily, a 6 1/2-month-old border collie, and McNab mix, who is ready to find her forever home through Novy’s Ark Canine Rescue and Adoption. This affectionate and energetic pup was born at the rescue after her mom, Peppermint, was saved while pregnant. Lily and her siblings, nicknamed the “spice puppies,” were lovingly raised by the rescue.
Originally named Paprika, Lily was adopted as a puppy but returned when her adopters realized they couldn’t meet the needs of her energetic breed. Now, Lily is looking for a family who can provide her with structure, training, and lots of playtime. She’s friendly with other dogs and would enjoy a canine sibling but would also do well as the only pet in an active household.
