Obituary of Juana Natalia O’Brien

– Juana Natalia O’Brien, age 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024. More commonly known as Natalie, she was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, on Sunday, March 10, 1946. For what she lacked in verticality she made up with her spunky personality in spades.
Natalie loved to dance, pull practical jokes, and laugh. She married the love of her life, Joseph O’Brien on March 6, 1965, and mothered two daughters and one son. She is survived by her husband, Joseph, her daughters Natalie O’Brien, Suzanne Jones (Jeff Jones), and son Alexander O’Brien (Belinda O’Brien) and her 6 grandchildren: Hannah, Nathan, Bradley, Charlotte, Liam, and Ava.
A prayer service will be held Thursday, Jan. 9, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Chapel of the Roses, 3450 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA 93422.
A funeral service will occur Friday, Jan. 10 from 12 to 1 p.m. at St. Williams Catholic Church, 6410 Santa Lucia Rd, Atascadero, CA 93422. Graveside service will occur Friday, Jan. 10, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Atascadero Cemetery District (Pine Mountain Cemetery), 1 Cemetery Road, Atascadero, CA 93422.
A reception to celebrate our mother’s life will follow at Saint Williams Hall.
