Estrella Warbirds Museum hosts all-you-can-eat crab dinner fundraiser
Fundraiser offers crab dinner and cash prizes
– The Estrella Warbirds Museum and Woodland Auto Display will host an all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab dinner fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 14, in Hangar One. The event will feature a chance to win $1,000 in cash and opportunities to bid on silent auction items.
The Valentine’s Day dinner will include fresh Dungeness crab, cocktail sauce, Italian pasta salad, French bread, and dessert. Cocktails will be available for purchase at a no-host bar. Individual tickets cost $115 per person and support museum operations. Admission includes automatic entry into cash prize drawings for amounts of $100, $200, $300, $400, and a grand prize of $1,000 along with lots of great silent auction prizes. Cocktails will be available at a non-hosted bar.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own butter warmers and crab-cracking tools, though tools will also be available for purchase at the event. Sponsor tables for six or eight people are available and include butter warmers, complimentary crab-cracking tools, and two bottles of wine.
Registration for the event begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner service starting at 6:30 p.m. Cash prize drawings will take place during the dinner. Tickets can be purchased at the museum gift shop or online at www.ewarbirds.org/events/crabfeed.shtml. Reservations are required to ensure sufficient quantities of crab. The deadline to purchase tickets is midnight on Feb. 1.
