Downtown begins transition from holiday to year-round lighting
Transition expected to be completed by the end of the week
– The holiday lights that have illuminated downtown Paso Robles and Downtown City Park throughout the festive season will begin to be removed on Monday, Jan. 13. The final opportunity to view the holiday displays will be Sunday, Jan. 12, according to a press release from the city.
The annual lighting tradition, supported by the city and contributions from the local community, has grown over the past two years. It features expanded light displays and decorations designed to enhance the appeal of downtown Paso Robles for residents and visitors during the holidays.
Following the removal of the holiday lights, the city will reinstall year-round decorative lighting to maintain a vibrant and welcoming downtown atmosphere. This ongoing effort supports local businesses, evening activities, and community events while creating an inviting space for residents and visitors.
Crews will carefully remove the holiday decorations and replace them with the year-round lighting, with the transition expected to be completed by the end of the week. Minimal disruption to downtown activities is anticipated during this process.
