Amtrak offering $10 fares to assist wildfire-impacted residents
Tickets for the discounted fare must be purchased by Jan. 17 for travel between Jan. 13 and Jan. 24
– The Los Angeles – San Diego – San Luis Obispo Rail Corridor Agency is offering $10 one-way fares on the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train service to assist residents affected by wildfires in Southern California. The discounted fares are available for travel anywhere along the rail corridor, which serves 29 stations between San Luis Obispo and San Diego.
Tickets for the discounted fare must be purchased by Jan. 17 for travel between Jan. 13 and Jan. 24. Travelers can use the discount by entering code V505 at checkout when booking on pacificsurfliner.com. The fare is valid for any one-way coach travel and cannot be combined with other discount offers.
The Pacific Surfliner operates along a 351-mile coastal route through San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties. It is the busiest state-supported intercity passenger rail service in the United States. Fares, routes, and schedules are subject to change, and other restrictions may apply.
The Los Angeles – San Diego – San Luis Obispo Rail Corridor Agency is a joint powers authority composed of rail owners, operators, and planning agencies along the rail corridor.
