Traffic control planned on Highway 41 for highway improvement project
Drivers to encounter traffic control Saturday north of the ‘wye’
– Caltrans will implement one-way reversing traffic control on a one-mile segment of Highway 41 north of the Highway 41/Highway 46 “wye” interchange on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The traffic control will allow crews to repair asphalt as part of an ongoing highway improvement project.
The project includes widening a segment of Highway 46 East from a two-lane highway into a four-lane expressway at the Highway 41 “wye” interchange.
Flaggers and message and directional signs will be in place to guide travelers through the area. Drivers are encouraged to slow down and exercise caution in the work zone.
Atkinson Construction of Irvine is the contractor for the $148 million project.
