– On Jan. 27, the City of Paso Robles announced it reached a mutual settlement agreement with former City Manager Ty Lewis. This week, the city released the full settlement agreement and a comment about Lewis’ departure.
The city thanked Lewis for his dedicated service to the Paso Robles community as a police officer, police chief, and city manager.
Lewis’ last day with the city was Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025. This agreement resolves all outstanding issues related to a claim Lewis previously filed against the city. Under the terms of the settlement, neither party will pursue litigation related to this claim.
In accordance with state law, the settlement agreement was made available for public inspection.
Effective immediately, Assistant City Manager Chris Huot will assume the role of Acting City Manager. The leadership transition will not impact city services, projects, or programs.
The city said it will have no further comment on this matter.

Ty Lewis leaves role as Paso Robles city manager
– The City of Paso Robles has announced that it has reached a mutual settlement agreement with City Manager Ty Lewis. His last day with the city was Sunday, Jan. 26.

Well, well, well. Don’t this just turn your panties inside out! For someone who was totally unqualified – my bet is that he took this deal to take as much money as possible from the city. Does anyone want to put money on the information that will be made public on 2/4? My bet is very little, if anything, about the monetary aspects.
I was wrong – financial details were divulged. Good riddance and good luck to Mr. Lewis – whom now can enjoy life knowing full-well he made off like a bandit.

Ty Lewis just joined the Central Valley rip-off squad with Chris Williams. What an accomplishment. Now do us all a favor and go back to Bakersfield.

They basically bought him out of the remaining contract which is a win for Paso and clearly shows his suit was frivolous with no merit. Worth sending him packing. Good work by CCN who had the receipts and influenced the outcome.

Does anyone want to put money on the information that will be made public on 2/4? My bet is very little, if anything, about the monetary aspects.
