Susan Florence Metz Gallagher.

– Susan Florence Metz Gallagher, born on July 15, 1950, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home in Paso Robles, California, on January 26, 2025, surrounded by her children.
Susan married her high school sweetheart, Ron Gallagher, and together they built a beautiful life and family. They welcomed twin sons, Jeff and John, followed by their daughter Lori. Susan and Ron shared a passion for construction and worked side by side in their family business, building homes and creating lasting memories.
A vibrant and social spirit, Susan loved entertaining her many friends and family, especially at her cherished lake house. She found joy in golfing, music, dancing (often on the table), and traveling to new places. Her grandchildren were the light of her life; she delighted in doing arts and crafts with them and kept her craft drawers stocked even as they grew older.
Susan is lovingly remembered by her children: Jeff Gallagher (Jennifer), John Gallagher (Tricy), and Lori Charnley; her grandchildren: Hailey Gallagher, Chandler Charnley, Skyler Charnley, and Gannon Gallagher; and her great-grandchildren: Stihl Scovell and Halston Hagen (soon to arrive). She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ron Gallagher; her parents Donna Ickes and Charles Metz; her twin sister Barbara Nickel; her son-in-law Andrew Charnley; grandson Little Ronnie; and other dear family members.
A celebration of Susan’s life will be announced at a later date. Her warmth, love of life, and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched.
