Atascadero Community Band donates $807 to Applause Children’s Theater

Applause Children’s Theater’s next production, Shrek Jr., the Musical, will take place March 27-29
– The Atascadero Community Band recently donated $807 to Applause Children’s Theater in Paso Robles. The funds were raised during the group’s 2024 holiday concert. The donation supports the theater’s mission to provide theater education and performance experiences for children.
Each year, musicians from the band select a local nonprofit to receive proceeds from their indoor concerts. This year, the band partnered with Applause Children’s Theater to support youth creativity and performance opportunities.
“We are thrilled to support Applause Children’s Theater and their incredible work with youth in our community,” band spokesperson Beth Bean said. “The generosity of our audience at the holiday concert shows just how much our local arts community values and supports one another.”
