Rainfall total reaches 7.66 inches after recent storms, more rain in the forecast

Temperatures are expected to rise in the early part of the week before cooling mid-week, with rain and storms moving through the area Wednesday and Thursday.
Monday and Tuesday will begin with partly cloudy conditions and highs reaching the mid-60s. Wednesday brings a significant change with rain and a high of 56 degrees, followed by scattered thunderstorms on Thursday with precipitation amounts of 0.09 inches.
Friday will see afternoon showers with continued precipitation, though temperatures will remain mild with a high of 56 degrees. The weekend looks to improve with partly cloudy conditions on Saturday and a high of 65 degrees, followed by mostly cloudy skies on Sunday with temperatures reaching 62 degrees.
Overnight lows throughout the week will range from the low-30s to low-40s, with the coldest nights occurring Saturday and Wednesday when temperatures will drop to the mid-30s.
