Thousands fill downtown for Paso Artsfest
Thousands of visitors and locals filled downtown Paso Robles on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the city’s annual arts festival, renamed this year the Paso Artsfest. The outdoor art show featured dozens of acclaimed artists who exhibited artwork ranging from paintings, jewelry, drawings, ceramics, glass works, textiles, wood, photography and more.
The Kids Art Smart Zone, located along Spring Street, was a popular space with hands-on art stations for kids, along with performances on a youth stage, musical petting zoo, face painters and stilt walkers. The Sand Masters returned with an expanded sand sculpting area on Pine Street that allowed children to participate in the creation of a giant sand castle.
