Habitat for Humanity ReStores celebrate Earth Day with discounts, activities
Event will feature discounts, a donation drive, and do-it-yourself activities for families
– Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County will celebrate Earth Day with a special event on April 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its ReStore locations in San Luis Obispo at 2790 Broad St. and Paso Robles at 844 9th St.
The event will feature discounts, a donation drive, and do-it-yourself activities for families. Visitors can shop for discounted items while supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build and repair affordable housing in the community. Attendees are encouraged to donate gently used items to promote sustainability and reduce waste.
ReStores will offer exclusive discounts from April 19 through April 25, including $5 off purchases of $50, $15 off purchases of $75, and $25 off purchases of $100.
“This event is a wonderful way for our community to honor Earth Day by embracing sustainability through reuse and recycling,” said Stephanie Wright, ReStores manager for Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County. “Every donation and purchase at our ReStores supports our efforts to provide safe and affordable housing for local families.”
ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center operated by Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County. It offers new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and home decor at discounted prices. Proceeds from sales support the organization’s mission to create affordable housing opportunities.
Since its founding in 1997, Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County has built, repaired, and rehabilitated houses across the region. The organization has completed 26 homes from Cambria to Grover Beach.
