Free presentation to cover Medicare benefits and health plan options 

Presentation will take place on Wednesday, April 16

– The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program will offer a free virtual presentation titled “Understanding Medicare” for individuals seeking to learn more about their Medicare benefits. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, April 16 at 1 p.m.

“HICAP is offering the presentations to help beneficiaries and caregivers better understand this comprehensive health care program,” said Tamara Broder, HICAP program manager.

The presentation will cover topics including an overview of Medicare coverage, supplemental insurance, Part D prescription coverage, Medicare and employer group health plans, and retiree health plan considerations.

HICAP provides free and unbiased information and counseling about Medicare. The program does not sell, recommend, or endorse any specific insurance products. Services are provided through the local Area Agency on Aging.
