Man arrested in South County for human trafficking, firearm possession

Detectives took 34-year-old Henry Vincent Terronez into custody in Arroyo Grande on Thursday
– Grover Beach Police Department detectives arrested a Porterville man on Thursday on charges related to a human trafficking investigation.
Detectives took 34-year-old Henry Vincent Terronez into custody in Arroyo Grande, where he had arranged to meet a minor for sexual purposes. Upon contact, investigators found an unregistered and concealed AR-15 behind the driver’s seat of his vehicle. A 60-round drum magazine and multiple 30-round magazines containing armor-piercing ammunition were also located.
Terronez was arrested on charges including carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, human trafficking of a victim under 18 years old, arranging a meeting with a minor for lewd purposes, meeting with a minor for lewd purposes, pandering, and sending harmful matter to a minor with sexual intent.
The case will be referred to the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. Authorities encourage any potential victims of Terronez to contact Detective Jared Allegranza at (805) 473-4511.
